Legal Question in Employment Law in India
I have applied for job on the basis of compassionate ground in mtnl but they are saying it is banned since 2002 except for 'c' and 'd' category people. I belong to 'C' category but still no response of letters and RTI's asked.

Sir, not that it is banned. May be MTNL as a matter of their policy may not be encouraging it. Also, in a recent judgment, the Hon'ble Supreme Court has held that job on compassionate ground cannot be asked as a matter of right.

Dear Sir / Madam,
Since you are seeking a job on compassionate grounds, I suggest you personally go and meet the General Manager as sort out the issue instead of writing letters. Take all the unanswered letters with you for the meeting, and if the issue is not amicably resolved in that meeting, ask the GM for the date and time when you should meet him / her next again in Office to finalize your appointment in the C category.
Regards.
