Legal Question in Employment Law in India
My appointment letter clearly states that quote "You need to serve a notice period of one month notice in writing at the time of dissolution of your services with us on either side (i.e. both from the Company as well as the Employee) under normal circumstances or one month salary in lieu thereof
I have served one week notice due to some unavoidable circumstances..and agreed for deduction of the salary for the remaining period. Am I going right?

Dear Sir / Madam,
Yes, you are right in requesting the Company to adjust and recover the remaining period of notice not served by you in the Company from your full and final dues owed by the Company to you.
Regards,
