Dear Sir / Madam,
Your Appointment Letter and the terms and conditions contained therein remains the contractual engagement between the two parties, namely the Employer and the Employee. Any subsequent amendments or policy decisions made thereafter are applicable to those employees who join on or after the date of the policy change. Since your Appointment letter mentions 01 (one) month's notice period, your notice period remains 01 month. There is no maximum notice period specified by the Labour Law.
Regards.
