Legal Question in Employment Law in Pakistan
A clause in my employment contract says that I will have to reimburse the employer for training expenditure incurred on me in case I resign before the minimum contract term (say 3 years). I guess it is void since bounded labour is unconstitutional, is it?
Another clause says that if I not serve the minimum period or if I serve the minimum term but fail to give a notice (say 2 months), they reserve the right to tell my professional body. Can they? If yes, can I fight them because it was illegal and hence not resulting in breaching code of ethics?
