Legal Question in Employment Law in India
My company has inserted a clause in my employment agreement, stating that I am barred from working in a similar line of work, for 2 years after I leave them. I am based in India. Is such a clause valid under Contracts law in India?

No, such a clause is invalid as per the provisions of the Indian Contract Act, 1873.
