Legal Question in Employment Law in United Kingdom
I company wanted to stop me applying for other jobs and offered to increase my pay, they gave me a letter of acceptance and a new contract, both of which I signed. The start date was November 1st 2016. The increase in money has yet to be paid along with all the back pay. The company are now saying they didn't follow their procedures and are refusing to honour the contract, can you please advise if the contract is legally binding and if I am able to force this through with the signed contract.

Dear Sir / Madam,
Yes, the employment contract along with all the specified terms and conditions contained therein are binding on both, the employer and the employee. If the Company fails to honour their commitment(s), escalating the matter of receiving your legitimate dues to the higher authorities for redressal is advisable and recommended.
