Legal Question in Employment Law in India

one day i saw that ABC company post an adv. on leading newspaper of that city for hiring a sales executive and after interview i got selected, from the first day of joining they gave me a training at factory regarding product knowledge in the ABC company for 7 days, and after 7 days they called me in office and gave me hard copy of appointment letter after seeing the appointment letter i got shocked by seeing that it is not the ABC company but XYZ company in other words super stockist of ABC company then i talked to one of the concerned personnel he told me you have to wait one year to get the appointment letter of ABC company. now they broke there promise/ cheated me because i spend more than one year in XYZ company. Also they have retained a part of salary. i am fed up i have to resign anyhow please suggest me what i will do legally and when that is before or after resignation. i have kept the newspaper on which adv. is posted.

Dear Sir / Madam,

As long as you were appointed as the Sales Executive in XYZ Company, I do not recommend you taking any hasty step of resigning from your present job, unless and until you have already have another job offer on hand. Although I am aware that the more you need your job, the worse you will be treated; still whatever legal action you wish to take against your present Company may be done only after you receive your Full and final settlement in case you resign from the Company.
