Legal Question in Employment Law in India

dear sir, at the time of joining 2 years back my resignation notice period was 30 days that too is mentioned in my offer/appointment letter, but now due to high attrition rate our ceo sent mail to all employees that 3 months of notice period is compulsory. Please suggest if this is not mentioned in my appointment letter/offer letter and only all employees received mail. whether we are bound to serve 3 months notice period at the time of resignation. we have not given acceptance mail to our ceo. but, whether we are still bound to serve 3 months notice period even that is not mentioned or we have not given any undersigned for the acceptance of 3 months of notice period

Dear Sir / Madam,

NO. You are not bound to serve 3 month's notice period. You should all bargain with the CEO to agree upon a condition in writing that the Company will pay double salary during the additional two months notice period being asked to be served, or in the event the Company terminates the service of the employee.

Regards,
