Legal Question in Employment Law in India
Dear Sir,
I am working in a private engineering college for past 3 months, at the time of joining they got my original certificates for confirming the job and when i asked about the acknowledgement of certificates they said they won't give acknowledgement because all were doing the same. I am aware retaining employees certificates is criminal offense.. But the situation forced me to do it. Now they are torturing so much and I like to relieve from there . So what are the possible ways to get my certificates or acknowledgement? Shall I proceed this matter legally or illegaly? And if I want to get my certificates I have to give three months salary.

Dear Sir / Madam,
You should straightaway write to the Registrar of the University complaining about the misdeeds of your college and asking them to intervene to get back all your original certificates from the college. Check for the notice period stated in your Appointment Letter and act accordingly.
