Legal Question in Employment Law in Pakistan

Dear Sir,

A regular permanent employee of a bank resigned from his services by his own will, as per terms of employment he was liable to serve notice period of two months which was not possible for him, so he clearly mentioned in resignation letter that after four days he will stop the work, and leave the organization, and it was in knowledge of his manager. On last working day, which was mention in resignation letter, after finishing his work, he turned off his system ids, handed over employee card and insurance card to manager, and left the premises. After 6 days, he received a call from the head office of the same bank, that you are on un authorize absence, you didn't serve notice period of 60 days recommended by your manager, This is a mis conduct and you will be terminate for it. Now recommend the procedure what should an employee do in this situation because he have joined another organization and could not leave
