Legal Question in Employment Law in India
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am working in ICSI (Institute works under the act of the parliment). I have recruited as an senior programmer on the basis of following qualifications as B.Tech/BE (Computer science/IT) or M.C.A or Equivalent Degree published in advertisement. But my degree is M.Sc(Computers) they have considered my degree as equivalent to B.Tech/BE(CS/IT) or MCA and recruited me. But for next level position the Institute Service rule contains only B.Tech/B.E (Computer science/IT) or MCA only there is no word Equivalent.
Due to this they are not giving me promotion and they are now not considering my M.Sc(Computer science) is not equivalent degree as during my recruitment process.
What should i do now please suggest how do proceed further.

Dear Sir / Madam,
You should check with the Institute as to what is the equivalent qualification / degree that you need to pursue after office hours so that you qualify and become eligible for a promotion.
Regards,
