Legal Question in Employment Law in India
Dear Sir/Madam,
My friend has worked for a manufacturing company for 43 years. He reached retirement age in 2005, but employers requested him to continue the services. on 29th July,2013 he has been handed a letter mentioning that he is given retirement from 31st July,2013. Is it right to terminate a employee who has given his 43 years by giving only 2 days notice, Please advice me how much compensation he should be allowed. While calculating his gratuity 15 days will be consider of 30 days
