Legal Question in Employment Law in India
Dear Sir,
One month before I have joined one company , in appointment letter it is mentioned that there will be 1 yrs service contract. I signed appointment letter but not any bond between me and company. I stopped to work for company, can company lodge police complaint against me?

Dear Sir / Madam,
NO. Any employment contract by whatever name called binding an employee to work for a minimum fixed duration implies bonded labour, and is illegal and a criminal offence. I see no way in which the Company can lodge a Police complaint against you, unless they are keen to invite trouble for themselves.
