Legal Question in Employment Law in India
Dear Sir,
Pls note i have worked for any organization from 18th June 2008 to 3rd april 2013.
Request you to pls advice if i am eligible for gratuity as my company claims that i need to complet 4 yrs & 10 months to reap the benefit.
Need your immd advice pls,

Dear Hema,
If this is your first job, you ought to have completed five years in employment to be eligible for gratuity. However, the Company can reduce the term and pay you the gratuity as an exception since you are just two months short of entitlement.
