Legal Question in Employment Law in India
Employer and employees of a private limited company in Kolkata signed a document called Meridian Employees Gratuity Fund Trust Deed and a self administered trust is created. The trust was managed with a current account in Allahabad Bank. Recently the bank insists that the trust deed must be registered. How can the deed which had been executed long time ago be registered now? Some of the signatories to the trust deed are dead.

Dear Sir / Madam,
The bank is right in insisting that the Trust has to be registered. Although some of the signatories have passed away, the present authorized signatories of the Trust are legally entitled to authenticate and validate all the registration documents.
