my employer issued me a cheque and terminated my services after obtaining a no dues certificate from me. Soon after she also advised her bank to stop payment of the cheque. what can I do to get redresal

Dear Sir / Madam,
Sue first. Deposit the cheque in your bank and obtain valid proof of cheque bouncing. Immediately within 30 days of the cheque bouncing, file a recovery suit for "cheque Bouncing" against your employer under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.
