If employer does not mention "salary in lieu of notice period " but instead just mentions " you have to give notice period of one month on your resignation " does it mean that an employee who resigns without notice still has to pay to the company for that period., can an employer charge interest on notice pay if not mentioned in offer letter

ofcourse, salary in lieu of notice period may be charged but not the interest. For interest there must have been specific agreement or written notice to you before charging it, as provided under the Interest Act
