Legal Question in Employment Law in India
My friend was working in a small IT Company.
He left the job without resignation. Company has send a legal notice for paying project cost (They said , they faced lot loss because of his absconding) and to complete a project.
As he was alone working on that and no other person was there to work with or understand. Company was not making any increment and all from last 1 and 1/2 year to him , and working environment was worst with pressure and anxiety. So only he left without asking anything i.e. experience letter and all.
Now What he should do?
What can be the end of this ?

Dear Sir / Madam.
Your friend is required to abide by the terms and conditions of the Offer Letter / Appointment Letter issued by the Company, and accepted and signed by your friend. If the terms and conditions of Appointment by the Company requires your friend to serve a notice period in the Company ... say a month or two month's notice period from the date of resignation or salary in lieu thereof, and if your friend has abruptly abandoned the Company's project and abruptly resigned without giving any intimation of resignation to the Company, your friend remains liable to pay the basic salary for the notice period not served by your friend from the date of submitting his / her resignation to the Company.
Your friend should reply point-wise to the legal notice clearly mentioning the prime reason(s) for his /.her resignation from the services of the Company, mentioning circumstantial and evidential proof of any harassment, ill-treatment, malpractices, wrongdoing(s) if any, of the Management or the Owners in the reply.
Regards,
