What if a govt officer received a by name summon on contempt of court under section 12. The court had ordered 2 consider a case and after consideration d deptt decided against the petitioner in view of existing policy.

Once you obtain a notice of "Contempt of Court" you have to give affidavit why you had not complied the order of the court, if you will not give reply your service may come under danger.
