Legal Question in Employment Law in India

Hi,

I have served my notice period completely and handover all the projects and given Knowledge transfer also to other employee. Got a acceptance cum release mail on the last day of employment from HR Manager. But after one month of relieving I asked the HR to provide me the relieving documents and FnF , they said you have to complete and deliver the project on which you were working because we don't have resources and without this we will not release your documents and FnF. They ask other employees to call me and work on that project whether from home or from new office or at their own office. HR does not reply to emails and when I call she says ask the Project Manager and when I discussed it with the Project Manager, He said I will not release your dues until you deliver the project. They want me to work for free and get their project delivered but I am working somewhere else now and it is not possible for me to work in my previous company. How can I get my all dues released as I have to submit all the documents in my new company. Kindly suggest.

Dear Sir / Madam,

You should straightaway lodge a Police complaint for "cheating" complaint against the Company. You should also inform the local Labour Commissioner and the Registrar of Companies that the Company is refusing to pay your full and final settlement and request their intervention to amicably resolve and immediately settle the issue.
