Legal Question in Employment Law in India
Hi,
My previous employer is refusing to release a revised full and final statement. Background of the matter is, they had sent me a 'negative recovery full and final' statement and asked me to pay balance amount of 54k towards my service agreement bond. I paid that amount and requested for a revised full and final statement which they have been refusing inspite of repeated requests. My question is can I pursue this matter legally as I believe that they should provide me an acknowledgement of my NO DUE in the same statement? Please advise. Thanks in advance.

Dear Sir / Madam,
Since you have the original recovery full and final statement and proof of having paid the recovery amount vide a cheque issued by you to the Company, you do not need any further evidence. You should request the Company to issue you a Service Certificate.
