Legal Question in Employment Law in India
i am from india i work in a college ,and my father is seriously ill , there is no one to take care of him , according to my contract i have to serve 2 months notice period , but in this case i cant serve , and i asked them that i can continue from next semester , they told me they will tell me about their decision after few days . what does that mean?

Dear Sir / Madam,
Always think positive. Your College authorities may be taking their time to decide on the matter. You should again follow up with them for the waiver of the notice period, after a few days to get their concrete reply thereto.
