Legal Question in Employment Law in India
I joined a big famous MNC in mid of this year. A week ago i was called by my manager and HR and they gave me 2 options:-- 1. They will give me 2 months salary along with quarterly pay bonus and asked/forced me to resign the company and not come to company next 2 months. They took my Id card and all office assets. 2. In case i dont resign, HR told he will terminate me with zero benefits.
I asked the reasons several times, they didnt want to give any. Its only 5 months since i joined the company. After 6 months i was supposed to be made permanent. Just few days before completing my 6 months, this happened. Choosing the best option, 1, i gave my resignation, though i was not at all in favor resigning. Can i sue the company for spoiling my career like this and without giving any concrete reasons? If so within before how many months/years can i file a complaint? Please let me know. Thanks.

you were within probation period and the company has a right to ask you to leave. It was good of them not to terminate you and assign reason as that would have become a part of your CV and in the nextjob you took it would have been reflected there. dont waste time in litigation m,aking lawyers rich move on in life and concentrate on your carrerr. If still you want to agitate the issue contact me and I shall draft the legal notice for them of course you will be billed for the nmotice. for further query contact 9312411481.
