Legal Question in Employment Law in India
I am joined a company a in July 2014 with a condition that I would be eligible for bonus of Rs 50000 as bonus after continuous service completion of 1 year in that organization. Please let me know if I resign at the end of May 2015 from the company with 2 months notice period by the end of July 2015 , shall I be legally eligible to receive the bonus amount ? or will there be any problem to get the bonus amount if I resign before completion of 1 year term ?

Dear Sir / Madam,
Although you would have completed a year's service in July, 2015 if you resigned in May, 2015, the Company may refute the bonus eligibility stating that you submitted your resignation prior to completion of the one year tenure. In my opinion, it is better to complete a year's service, take the Bonus amount, and thereafter decide on your resignation.
