Legal Question in Employment Law in India
After I left my job with 26 years of work, my employer didnt pay me Gratuity, which they are supposed to within 30 days.
I was late in applying for gratuity and couldnt in 30 days. So does that mean I wont be paid gratuity now?

Dear Sir / Madam,
A delay in applying for the Gratuity in no way absolves the employer from paying it to you. You should submit an application in writing to the Company to immediately pay your Gratuity without any further delay, failing which you should lodge a complaint with the fund commissioner.
