Legal Question in Employment Law in India
i am a MD of a pvt. ltd. co. where one of my employee resigned and we accept his resignation and after a month he completed his notice period, the full and final is pending from our side. one of his completed project's payment is due as the client haven't pay till time, and the vendors who worked for this project is asking for his payment which is due from our side as the project is completed in feb, my CFO wrote a mail to that associate stating that the ex-employee is responsible for delay and also wrote that the employee was culprit as we found him taking bribes/Commission from other associates, this was a mail just to hold that associate & thats why we didn't mark that mail to that employee, But our associate reply to that mail to us and him, and take his side. Now our employee is telling us that he'll fir a case of defaming & mental harassment. few points he also raised for his resignation which are arrears (pending from last 2 years), Salary delay, some fraud bills which we make for our client to get more profit......
Kindly advice how to tackle this situation.....

Dear Sir / Madam,
You are supposed to immediately pay off and settle the final settlement dues of the employee who has resigned and served the notice period in the Company. The allegations being made against the employee after he has resigned are most likely false and frivolous and should be ignored.
