Notice period Resignation.
As per my appointment letter when I joined 3 years back notice period is 1 month. Today all of sudden HR sent a mail Notice period revised policy to 3 months from 1 month. Is it legal?

1) If it is as a general policy change for all employees, it is legal.
2) Any employee not agreeable resign by giving one month notice.

Dear Sir / Madam,
The notice period as mentioned in your Appointment Letter will prevail. If the Company revises its policy and increases the notice period, it will apply to all new employees who join the organisation from and after the date of policy revision, and will not apply to old employees.
