Legal Question in Employment Law in India
Whether Provident Fund Contribution is payable on the daily wages paid to workers who are engaged on daily wages basis? If so how to calculate the PF in this case?

Dear Sir / Madam,
PF and ESI act is applicable to daily wager and a temporary worker also. However, if trainees are hired through apprentice act or through the provision of certified standing orders than ESI & PF is not to be paid against trainees.
