i want to know what is the provision if in the absence of a written contract, an office staff quits job without prior notice and later joins some other job and after 2 years files a case for compensation in the labor court.

Dear Sir / Madam,

The onus lies solely on the petitioner claiming compensation to substantiate with documentary evidence to the labour Court, "how" and "why" and "what" and the grounds on which he / she has incurred or suffered any financial loss as a result of negligence or neglect by the Company to settle outstanding dues, if any.
