Legal Question in Employment Law in
I am retired on 31.03.10 as a workman and i get gratuity of rs.350000 and my friend retired on same day i.e 31.03.10 and he got rs. 680000 lakh gratuity as a officer. please clarify .

Your friend as an officer must be getting higher Basic and DA then what you were getting as workman. Hence the difference in the amount of Gratuity.
