DOES RTI and Labor law APPLY TO MNC/IT COs. if not, what is the recourse to get justice ?

Dear Sir / Madam,
Yes, the Right To Information (RTI) and the Labour Law applies universally to all Government and public sector undertakings and to limited companies alike. The application letter is to be addressed to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) of the undertaking / company.

1) Sec 2(f) of the RTI Act: .....information relating to any private body which can be accessed by a public authority under any other law for the time being in force...
2) In general, Private sector companies do not come under the purview of RTI Act. Still wherever they are obligated to furnish information to the govt., such info can be accessed.
