Legal Question in Employment Law in India
Hi my name is Sanjay from Bangalore. I absconded from my company services, a private company based at Mumbai. I worked with them for 3 months and quit. I received a legal notice through an email asking me to pay 2,50,000.
I haven't signed any bond or agreement as such. I just received a welcome email from them which didn't have any information pertaining to paying money in lieu of absconding.
I responded to the email indicating, I haven't gotten into any agreement. Please advise if this is something I need to worry about.
