Legal Question in Employment Law in India

sir i did not attend office for 4 months because of domestic problems. I got 3 memos and 1 one decrement. Can i challenge against this because this is not a crime. It is loss of pay for me did not do any criminal activity. I am working in central govt

1) No. U hv to abide by the office indiscipline.

2) Its good they hv not removed from service.

If u dont need job better resign and get out.

Dear Sir / Madam,

Unless ruled medically unfit on account of any accident, sickness or illness, a Government employee cannot take leave for an unreasonably long period just on domestic pretext, The Department is right in their action. You may substantiate the reason for your long leave and request the Department to condone the decrement.
