Legal Question in Employment Law in India
sir i started working in company after my btech. company initially agreed to pay 15000 but upon reaching there it reduced my salary to 10000.after my sister illness i left that company.i am having the company laptop with me.and company is not paying me my salary.upon asking they are saying give laptop then they wiil think.that company has not paid to two of my friend also.thats why i dont trust them.they are saying they will take legal action.but that company is paying through cash and i have not signed any document regarding laptop.its a small company with total employee 5.please suggest me the legal course of action

Dear Sir / Madam,
Your query reminds me of the joke of the working psychology of a "babu / badhu" in West Bengal. The joke goes like this : When the Company says that their Office timings are from 09.00 am to 05.00 pm, the babu / badhu interprets it that the Company means he / she has to leave home for Office at 09.00 am and reach home from Office by 05.00 pm.
Police action is advisable and recommended.
