Legal Question in Employment Law in India
Sir two years back I got retired from a nationalised bank. A case was pending against me and therefore the bank had withheld my Leave encashment amount. Now the case is finalised and the bank has paid the leave encashment amount for 222 days. Whether the bank has the right to withhold the leave encashment and if not whether I can claim interest for the delayed payment.

Dear Sir / Madam,
If you have been acquitted from the case without any charges, you are entitled to claim interest on the period of delay in settlement of your leave encashment from the bank.
Regards,
