Legal Question in Employment Law in India

Hello sir/madam,

I am Gyaneshwar Kumar from Patna.

I had applied in Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) in OBC category for the post of SSE and JE in Oct 2014.Examination held in December 2014. But then after in July 2015 my Category merged into a caste which is under SC Category in my state as well as central list.

Still result has not been out(15 sep 2015).

My question is.....

1. Am I legally eligible to ask the recruitment authority for consideration under my changed Category i.e SC.

2. If the recruiting authority Deny what action I should take.

Please answer....

Dear Gyaneshwar,

If you have cleared the RRB Examination, you should request the recruitment authority for consideration in changed Category, Legal action is not advisable and not recommended.
