What is a standing order? is it different for all states.? is there a need for standing order if a company has apointment letter, seperation policy in place....

Dear Sir / Madam,
A standing order is an instruction by a higher authority. It depends on the context in which it has been issued and varies from case to case. In case of employment, the Appointment Letter prevails over the standing order.
