Legal Question in Employment Law in India
I am in training/probation period in my company.
It was suppose to last 8 weeks with multiple assesments in between.
After 17 days of training my training manager said that I am not upto the standards of the company therefore i cant continue working there from that day itself.
My question is, Can a company terminate its employee without any prior notice...???
I have a statement in my offer letter about termination which is as follows,
"during the period of probation or on confirmation of your services thereof, your appointment shall continue unless and until terminated by either party giving not less than thirty days notice in writing at any time"
I left my previous job for this company and this is extremely dissapointing for me....
Plz help

Dear Sir / Madam,
The Company remains liable to pay you one month's salary plus the 17 days training period stipend agreed upon and as mentioned in your Appointment Letter. You may also claim compensation equivalent to three month's salary from the Company for loss of previous job.
Regards,
