Legal Question in Employment Law in India

I worked in a small company till August 2016, they have to clear my salary due of 35,000rs which they are not. How can i proceed legally against the company? I have all the required proofs like appointment letter, id card, salary statements and an email from the manager about clearing my pending salary.

Dear Sir / Madam,

You may politely request the Company to pay and settle your full and final dues within the next 10 (ten) days failing which you may straightaway lodge a local Police complaint for cheating (IPC Section 420) against the Company.
