Legal Question in Employment Law in India

I am working in security agency looking after PF and ESIC in the agency, Recently one guard expired on duty due to heart attack, now problem has arise who will be the legal heir, he is married and have two kids but as he was alcoholic person and due to some reason his wife and kid were stay away from him from last 10 years, he has not divorced his wife, and very often he use to meet them. expired guards elder brother, his mother and wife including kids are claiming for PF and Gratuity could you please suggest me who would be the legal heir

Dear Sir / Madam,

You should request his wife to submit an application along with his Death Certificate and the settlement dues cheque should be issued in the name of the deceased Security Guard's wife.
