Legal Question in Employment Law in India
I was working with a software development company, while being full time employed I was also working part time for one of the company's client and later I resigned and started working full time for company's client. Now my ex company sent me legal notice to pay for compensation. what should I do ?
here is the contract clause they been referring that I breached :
During your tenure you will not be engaged in any other trade business or profession, wheather part time or full time. It was further mentioned therein that you will not directly or indirectly give any professional advice to outsiders on basis of your experience gained in this organization.

Dear Sir / Madam,
You will have to visit the ex-Company and discuss and negotiate on the compensation amount that you need to settle with them. Once decided, you should pay off and settle the amount instantly.
