The Workmen's compensation Act, now known as Employees Compensation Act applies to all the employees who are not covered under the ESI Act. Any industrial injury or occupational disease arising in the course of employment or out of the course of employment are covered under the act and the employee is entitled to the compensation thereof, based on age, salary drawn by applying the relevant factor as provided in the schedule.
