Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in
Many thanks Adv. Arya. My brother in USA is taking rent but does not give receipt. If I could prove tenancy, he will not be able to throw me out. I am old and physically disadvantaged. Moreover does my status as a widow of a Navy Officer give me additional protection?

i am sorry, your status as a widow of a Naval Officer does not give any additional protection. Moreover, i am not in agreement that if you could prove your tenancy then he will not be able to throw you out. A tenant is tenant. Will your mother support if you want to challenge the Relinquishment Deed?
