Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India
Dear sir/madam,
i have three rooms on rent from last 13 years in building. Building has been built for the purpose of rent only and 5 more tenants are threre. Our landlord lives in anothere state (karnataka) and the said building is in maharashtra. Our landlord teasing me from last 6 months to evict the house not otheres. I am his best tenant yet in sense of rent as well as behaviour. But now he is doing his action forcefully. what should i do? is there any way? plz. help me. and thank you in advance!

Dear Sir / Madam,
Landlord - tenant arrangements have been abolished since 1985 and have been replaced by Agreement for Leave and License (ALL) of 11 months to 3 years duration. If you as the licensee are paying the enhanced lease charges as per your ALL for your premises to the licensor regularly, there is no reason why the licensor should evict you from the premises.
