Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India
I has enyrtrf into a rental agreement with my landlord, which is coming to an end with 15th april 2014. MY owner is now telling me that he will only return partial advance and deduct the remaining. Please let me know how can i sue him - both effectively and economically. Hoping for a solution ASAP.

under what head is he deducting the advance?? ask him fo the details and then go for a legal action. BTW litigation can never be economical. it requires time money patience and energy.

Dear Sir / Madam,
It is possible that the Owner is retaining the last electricity charges and any other damage charges that become due and payable by you as per the terms and conditions specified in the Agreement for Leave and License (ALL). You should politely request the Licensor to refund the balance on receipt of actual electricity bills and deducting reasonable repair expenses. The Owner is entitled to deduct all expenses actually incurred by him / her. Instead of suing the Owner, Police intervention to resolve the matter will be easier and quicker.
Regards,
