Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India
In our family there are three brothers and two sisters and all are major.Father was expired on 03.05.1988 and Mother is alive.Father was purchased a land on March 1981.The three brothers were sold the land in 2004 with out the knowledge of the sisters and the share also was not given.The two sisters were not signed in the sold document. Recently only they came know that the land was sold and the share was not given.Now the sisters were trying to go to the court for their share.In the court Is it legally possible to recover the sold land by the sisters or the three brothers should give the share to the sisters in sold amount.I am Nagarajan from Tamilnadu asking this question please.

Dear Nagarajan,
The land has already been sold so nothing can be done about it now. The two sisters can file a case in the Court that their brothers have to give them their value share of the sales proceeds of the land.
