Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India
My father haa been practicing medical in a shop for last 25 years. He has been paying electricity bill and municipal bills througout. In 2008 the owner of the shop who doesn't stay in town stopped giving the receipt for the rent my dad was paying. He filed a case against my dad in district court asking us to vacate. During the case my dad continued to pay rent through the challans in his name in govt treasury. Also during the the case proceedings he got to know that the shop is under ssomebody else's lease till 2031.despite projecting all the facts my dad lost the case in lower court and he's been ordered to vacate the shop. kindly advice.

Dear Sir / Madam,
It is futile to fight a lost battle, and waste money on lawyers and run around in the Court.
