Dear Madam,
If you have been named as the sole beneficiary in your father's Will, you can get the title to the property transferred in your name vide a Probate of the Will. If your father has passed away intestate (without a Will) you will have an equal right and share with other legal heirs.
Regards,
if you grandfather made a will for that plot in your father's name and your father had no will then you have equal share vis a vis all other class 1 heirs. If your grandfather did not make any will then you have equal share vis a vis all other class 1 heirs in the land even if your father made a will not in your favour even.
