Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India
Hi,I am from Rajahmundry,andhra pradesh,India.I was doing business in a rented shop from last 20 years. We didn't made any rental agreement with land lord and I am paying rent on time through cheques and haven't created any problems to landlord.Yesterday, I got a lawyer notice to vacate shop in 3 months from my land lord stating he want to occupy it for his own business. Please let me know what should I do to defend this?I can't find any alternative premisis to relocate my business and I am only person who earns in my family.Legal advice needed urgently..plss

1) Settle amicably with landlord, seek some more time as u cant stay for ever
against landlord wish.
