Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Pakistan
Hi,
I want to know that according to new tenancy law (rental laws), whose responsibility is to make a tenancy contract and submit a copy of it in relevant police station? either tenant or landlord?
i am living with my family in gulberg and despite of several reminders, landlord has not given us the contract. Now, the concerned police station on the name of "search operations" harrass me and my family members. I heard that it os totally landlord responsbility to make contract and get it certified by police station and tenant has nothing to do with it except to keep a copy of it with him. is it true? if yes, what can I do in this amtter if police comes and asks us about contract?

Dear, if your landlord not going to registered the agreement then you file a case in court and get a stay from court to not harass you. its easy and simple.
